It’s been a couple of days now since I signed my contract with Black Rose Writing and for a guy who usually sees the worst side of things, I’m still walking on sunshine. Cue the Intervention episode. If you know, you know:
Ten years ago I was clueless and taking an online class at Litreactor.com on how to self-publish my first novella, Huckleberry’s Hail Mary.
Flash forward and I’m signed to a legit press and eagerly awaiting my book’s publication date – January 27,2022. “The Pine Barrens Stratagem” or “Steve Rockfish PI – The Pine Barrens Stratagem”, (I can’t figure out which way to go), was one heck of a ride and an idea three years in the making. At some point on this blog, I plan on going into the joy’s of writer’s block and how I’ve successfully or not successfully, depends on your opinion, gotten over the hump a few times in my ‘writing’ career.
Also, check out the link to the left, on the home page regarding the site’s upcoming newsletter where you can stay informed with all things “The Pine Barrens Stratagem” related. We won’t spam you, just a few reminders like major upcoming milestones and the publication date as they draw closer. And maybe a look regarding what goes on behind the keyboard.
